The Great Red Brain was a huge brain encased in a special device to keep it alive. The mighty Red Brain was used by Tong, the self-proclaimed greatest Asiatic overlord since Genghis Khan, to devise strategies to defeat the American forces during the Korean War. The Great Red Brain was even able to hault the Marvel Family in their tracks via its powerful mental telepathy. The Marvel Family eventually escaped and defeated the Great Red Brain by destroying its protective housing. As the Brain fell out of its casing, it seemingly crushed and killed Tong, but Tong survived to battle the Marvel Family another day.
