In response to the popularity of The Brave and the Bold (Batman's team-up book), DC gave Superman the go-ahead to team-up with other DC Super-Heroes with DC Comics Presents. Unfortunately, DC Comics Presents was canceled just shy of its 100^th issue. Captain Marvel appeared in three issues of the regular series and one issue of the annual edition.
